I am fully convinced that there is a contingent on the right that is attempting to lay the groundwork to shift MAGA into a full-on religious cult once Trump finally dies.
Like I think there will be people who will literally start opening The Church of Trump. I think there will be a not-insignificant number of MAGA folks who will go all in on dedicating their hearts and lives to him.
It’s like they’re already trying to plant the seeds to claim his divinity in the future.
