This is why I eat at local establishments, much easier to know if the owners a chud.

Doesn’t mean I’m not eating there, I just like to know.

This company gave people multiple waves of diseases spread over years from their shitty food handling and somehow people just shrugged it off and kept going, with full knowledge of this.

People still rave about their decidedly mediocre burritos for some fucking reason. I don’t get it. Now they’ve aligned with the anti FDA fascists

Don’t lose hope. Chipotle has reported a decrease in traffic multiple times over the last year or so. Right now their stock is sitting at half of what it was in 2024. Antidotally, I hear a lot more criticism than support in my circles and I have no plans to ever eat there again.

They are extremely expensive for what they offer nowadays, at least if you live anywhere in California, Arizona, New Mexico or Texas. I’m assuming New York, Oregon, Seattle and any other states with local Mexican restaurants as well.

I want to state that I don’t go to Chipotle and instead go to local establishments for food.

The local mexican restaurants have better food but the quantity is less. So at Chipotle, you’re paying for the quantity of a big slop bowl at a similar price, or cheaper than a few dollars in comparison to any local Mexican establishment. There’s a reason why a lot of gym bros go for Chipotle to get their protein intake.

Also local chipotles vary widely in quality and some are pretty good food and portions for the cost.

Unfortunately don’t feel like supporting them now that they do business with Palantir

Stopped going there when they were on the extreme wrong side of a local labor dispute. Get fucked Chipotle.

That South Park episode did well in ensuring that I’d never go there. Never had tried, then that episode came out, so it’s just never happened for me.

This is one reason I’ve relaxed my stance on Chick-Fil-A. Not that they are suddenly supporting human rights, but they did back down a bit after the outcry, and because I did a little looking a few years ago and found that MOST corporations are giving a lot of money to causes I hate, so it’s just not worth it. Then again, I try not to give big corporations money when I can avoid it, although that’s also a difficult cause that I dn’t spend too much time on.

My pragmatic approach probably isn’t popular, but I think it is more informed than knee-jerk reactions, so I’m comfortable with it.

    FUCK.

Now I need to eat there at least twice so when I tell them I’m never eating there again it seems meaningful.

The repeated food poisoning wasn’t enough to get me to stop eating it, but this may be.
